Benton Hot Springs – California

As the name suggests, Benton Hot Springs is located in Benton, California and is one of the oldest natural pools in the state. As soon as you pull up to the area you will step back in time as history has supplanted itself with historical remanence of what once was. From run down farm equipment to the historical resort and Inn, this place truly needs to be on your bucket list of places to visit during your travels.

Benton Hot Springs is unique in that it offers private tubs at all eleven campsite rental areas that have the natural mineral waters pumped in. The rentals include your own tub, fire pit, and a picnic table to eat at. Other than the two rooms at the hotel, most people enjoy camping under the stars, but there are also RV options available. The source of the California mineral waters starts at 140 degrees, but by the time it reaches the private tubs, it’s a much more manageable 102,. Many travelers love the idea of camping with their own private hot springs on site.
