Buckeye Hot Springs – California
Nestled in the great Sierras, Buckeye Hot Springs is one of the great rustic primitive natural pools in the state. Located in Bridgeport (home to a few other hot springs as well), this is the perfect paradise to get away from the world for a few hours and relax in mother nature. The next time you need something to do, check out Buckeye Hot Springs and make a day of soaking in California’s natural waters.

There are two different hot springs areas for you to enjoy. Many tend to flock towards Buckeye Creek where the hot springs waters cascade down over you at 112 degrees. There is even a small cave area under the small waterfall where you can hide for a little while and soak by yourself. The other other springs is made from rocks and has some unbelievable views of California’s Sierras. Whichever you choose, Buckeye Hot Springs is a true attraction that you need to visit when traveling in the state.
We should mention clothing is optional so be prepared to see some naked people if you go in the early morning or late evening.
