How To Say Come Here in French

At times, when lost in a French-speaking country, you may need help with directions or something else. Asking the person to come over to you is considered to be more polite than shouting at them. The phrase used to say come here in French is – viens ici.

Viens ici – This is the most common phrase to say come here in French. When you use this French greeting phrase, you are politely asking the person to come over to you. The phrase can be useful when you need help with directions and want to ask someone. Also, a mother can use this phrase to tell her child to come over.

What’s more, venez ici is another phrase to say come here in French. The major difference is that “viens ici” can only be used for one person, while “venez ici” can be aimed at more than one person or a group of people. Nonetheless, asking for help by telling someone to come over is never rude. This French greeting phrase may come in handy when you are lost or in a dilemma.
