Haulover beach sits between Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach. Over a mile of pristine white sand and surf welcome visitors to one of the largest stretches of undeveloped oceanfront in all of Miami-Dade county.
Guests come for the amazing views, a wonderful assortment of activities, and of course, the notorious northern stretch of the beach that is clothing optional.
But don’t let the exotic nature of this beach steer you away from the area. Not only is the beach consistently ranked on top beaches for not only Florida but for the world, but it also is known far and wide and a very family-friendly location.
There is absolutely no pressure to drop your swimsuit, and you can easily avoid the northern clothing-optional portion of the beach if you choose.
Whether or not you are there for the more natural side of things, you can rest assured that Haulover Beach is ripe with unmatched natural beauty, modern concessions, and outstanding recreational activities.

Swimming, surfing, sunbathing, biking, rollerblading, snorkeling, fishing, and much more.
Haulover Beach is also known as a perfect spot to fly a kite. On the right windy day, you can expect to see an army of kites floating on the ocean breeze.
There is even an amazing kite shop, Skyward Kites, that can set you up with the largest selection of kites and other flying fun in all of Miami.
If you happen to have some skateboarding in your crew, there is a wonderful state of the art skate park. The facilities are geared toward all levels of skaters, so even kids looking just to pump around can find places to have fun here.

Fun Facts
The clothing optional portion of the beach is world renowned. It is consistently placed on the best beaches for naturists year after year.
The portion of the beach is unique in that, unlike other clothing optional beaches, it is not hidden away out of view of the public. Most other nude beaches in the sunshine state are hidden away, usually by vegetation and distance.
