There are two different hot spring pool areas at Lake Isabella, with one having cascading water flowing down and creating a little waterfall you can sit under. Once you are done soaking in the natural mineral waters, head on out into the Sequoia National Forest where there is nearby hiking trails to explore. It really is the perfect way to spend a day near Bakersfield.

1. Start on CA-178 East for 40 miles
2. Take exit 42 towards Lake Isabella
3. Make a right on Elizabeth Norris road
4. Make a left onto Lake Isabella which will take you to your destination.
