My Love in German

March 7, 2020 By //  by Hogan Murphy

How to say My Love in German

There is nothing more romantic than being in another country with the one you love. You are in the right place for a memorial trip now you have to have the proper vocabulary. To say “My Love in German.” you would say “Meine Liebe.” You would pronounce this as (main, lee-bah or lee-ba)

Although we would like to think that while on vacation to such a wonderful place such as Germany, you would want this to be only romanticised. However this way of speech can be said to just about anyone you truly care for. You can say it to a friend, a child, a pet.

Germany values their loved ones deeply and have many pet names and ways they can talk sweetly to one another. So “My Love” is a very general term. Usually only used by visitors or when speaking with someone sweetly but not necessarily lovingly.

Examples of how to say my love in German

“Lerne meinen Sohn Micheal kennen, er ist meine Liebe.”
“Meet my son Micheal, he is my love.”

“Entschuldigung, meine Liebe. Bitte geben Sie das Wasser.”
“Excuse me, my love. Please pass the water.”

“Du siehst heute wunderschön aus, meine Liebe.”
“You look beautiful today my love.”
