This location is probably as cool as Chuck Norris since the hot springs here are dubbed as the “Water of the Gods.” Their clear mineral water boasts of heat that comes from the depths of the earth.
Situated in Norris, MT, the springs are known to be so pure that the maintaining average temperature is 120 degrees. You can even see bubbles popping up every now and then!
To make sure the hot springs is not damaged by constant use of the public, the resort cleans out the pools an empties them every night through a miner’s valve that was built back in the 1880s. This makes the location perfect all throughout the year.
Norris Hot Springs is a lively community. There are freshly planted tomatoes and herbs that they pick from the gardens. It’s a farm-to-table type of experience. You can check out the 50 Mile Grill & Snack Bar and the No Loose Dogs Saloon which both offer inspirations from the hot springs.
The grill menu features grass-fed beef and bison, as well as fresh salads (which are picked from the “Garden of the Gods.”). For the winter season, they still server a sustainable menu that comes from their preserved vegetables and house-made garnish.
The Norris Hot Springs doesn’t have lodging, but they have campsites. Pet’s are welcome, but they should be kept on a leash and are quiet. This is to make sure that others’ stay can be as comfortable, too.
WiFi connection is also available in the area, but there is no cell service. Partying is not allowed in the campsite and guests are requested to follow the Quiet Hours.
One of the reasons why Norris Hot Springs has been so popular is the band performances they have on site. Check out the calendar of events to know which bands are singing during your stay!
