Montana has a lot of spa locations and over the years, there are a few that stood the test of time. One of them is the Spa Hot Springs Motel and Clinic.
Run by Montana local, this historic spa along the downtown White Sulphur Springs has been providing comfort and healing since the late 1860s. The Flathead Indians spoke with James Brewer, of the renowned healing waters and they discussed the wonders of hot springs. Brewer then became fascinated with the idea and built a cabin beside one and settled down. Fast forward, the cabin became a home and it opened its doors for guests.

Now, Spa Hot Springs Motel and Clinic, MT, is known for easing conditions like “arthritis, rheumatism, skin and stomach disorders, and a wide variety of muscle and joint ailments.” The results have been undeniable that this Montana location has been compared to the world-famous Baden-Baden hot springs in Germany.
Open year-long, the water in this hot springs is comprised of Chloride, Sulfate, Bicarbonate, Nitrate, Lithium, Sodium & Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Iron & Alumina, as well as Silica. All-in-all, together with the magnificent heat of the water, they provide rejuvenation for anyone who experiences Spa Hot Springs.
You would also enjoy their unique murals painted by Montana local artist Mike Mahoney, whose works have been commissioned by the USDA Forest Service, The Nature Conservancy and Boone & Crockett Club. This particular mural reflects the life and history of White Sulfur Springs.

Aside from the natural wonder, the location also has 16 brand-new poolside rooms, with complete motel amenities. It’s great for families or couples. They also have other guest services and novelty items you can bring home as memorabilia.
If you’re not in the pool, you can also visit nearby attractions like the 2 Basset Brewery, Red Ants Pants, the Castle Museum, or the Arrowhead Meadow Golf Course.
