Spence Hot Springs – New Mexico
Not too far from Jemez Springs, Spence Hot Springs is a popular destination for those looking for a relaxing soak while taking in epic views of New Mexico’s wilderness. This primitive and underdeveloped area offers two different pools that unfortunately have been cooling down over the years and now considered a warm springs area.

During the summer months, Spence hot springs can get pretty crowded as it’s a local favorite. Clothing is required and it’s recommended you try and leave the way you came as sometimes you may see trash left from prior groups. The warm natural waters still provide the healing benefits which so many people are attracted too, but try to avoid submerging as the temperatures don’t get hot enough to kill all bacteria.
