Trinity Hot Springs – Idaho
Idaho is well known for their natural hot springs, but Trinity Hot Springs sets themselves apart from not only the state, but the entire U.S. This hot springs is the only one which has been certified as having natural health waters making it a very popular destination for visitors from all over the world. If you are in the Boise area, it’s a short drive away and well worth the experience of soaking in the natural mineral waters of Idaho.

Trinity Hot Springs resort is nestled in the Sawtooth National Forest along side the Boise River. They have done a fantastic job at creating the a tranquil experience that will relax both your body and mind. There is a giant open pool with a tent like structure in the middle, along with two soaking tubs on the sides of the pool where the source of the natural waters are pumped into. The resort claims that the waters come from some of the deepest pockets on the planet (at 300 degrees) which is what makes their waters so pure and high in minerals. As it travels up to the surface it cools down to about 135 degrees before settling around 100 degrees at Trinity Hot Springs.

When you aren’t relaxing in Idaho’s hot spring waters, take part in the resorts yoga classes to continue your spiritual relaxation. As far as accommodations, they do offer lodging including cabins, private rooms, or even an entire house. Unfortunately there isn’t any nearby camping in the area so making a reservation if you plan on spending the night is recommended.
Directions to Trinity Hot Springs
From Boise, Idaho
1. Start on I-84 East towards Hill City (75 miles)
2. Take Forest 61 to Grouse Creek Road (24 miles)
3. Continue on Forest 61 until you reach the resort.
The waters along with the picturesque views of the mountains make Trinity Hot Springs one of our favorite attractions in Idaho to visit. Happy Soaking!
