We put this as one of the best areas of Canada for their beautiful scenery and views as you camp directly on Waterfowl Lake. As you wake up you can enjoy snow capped mountains and turquoise blue water as you prepare for your adventure.

Hiking is the most popular activity in the area and with only a short distance you can head up to the upper lake which is a little more majestic than the lower. If you have a National Park fishing license you can even test your luck and catch dinner for the night. If you want to tour Banff outside of the campsite, you can also try several hikes to Cirque Lake or Chephren Lake. Some of these trails can be grueling so pack accordingly and see if you can reach the summit.
